“Believe in the Adventure” the 135 Grand Chapter Session,
June 15-18, 2025 in Pendleton, Oregon

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

The Adventurers cordially invite you to the One Hundred and Thirty Fifth Grand Chapter Session, June 15-18, 2025 in Pendleton, Oregon. Our Session’s theme this year is, “Believe in the Adventure”. This packet of information includes all of the details you will need to finalize your plans to attend Grand Chapter. We are looking forward to greeting all of you as we gather in Pendleton as we celebrate another year and to conduct the business of our Jurisdiction.

    Registration and Banquets

We are pleased to announce we will have the ability to register online or by mail and take credit/debit cards or direct pay through your bank account.  These two forms are now combined and if sending by snail mail, it will go to the registration committee chair.  See more details outlined in this packet and on the website.

    Housing

We have selected Oxford Suites as our hotel of choice this year as they have given us the best rates of the ones we checked into. Remember to ask for the Eastern Star rate when you book your room. Pendleton has several hotels to fit every budget including several Airbnb’s.

As in the past years, RV parking with shower room access is available at the convention Center. Steve Rose has been so gracious to continue to be our Wagon Master again this year. You will also be able to make this reservation and pay online as well.

    A few Scheduling Details

We will kick off our session with the All-Membership banquet on Sunday, June 15th which will be followed by the informal opening. Wear your favorite bling. This is a great time to socialize with your sisters and brothers and meet members of other Masonic families as many friends from other organizations will be joining us.

Our Grand Pages will be organizing a Tuesday Evening Fun Night- Life is Better by the Campfire. Join us  for an evening of fun and fellowship with games and activities. $20 will get you in and all the games you can handle including 1 ticket for the pie throwing drawing. Ax throwing, fishing, sight seeing with your very own homemade binoculars and so much more! Pie in the face contest with special guests WGM, WGP and Most Worshipful Grand Master.  Sure to be an entertaining night.  Dress in your best camping attire. This evening is very casual and will be after any banquets. Your Chapter or you as an individual are welcome to have a booth. Please contact Rebecca 208-739-0208 or Denise Price, Page Co-Captains, if you plan to do so or would like to and need help with ideas or games that can be borrowed for a booth (we have things that can be borrowed.) All you would need to furnish are the little prizes. This evening will end the Silent Auction. Bid Bid Bid!

As always, our line groups will be operating the Flower Booth, Jewelry Booth, Sister’s Closet along with Ways & Means in the Happy Canyon Room throughout the session.  Be sure to support these groups.

Tracy and I have enjoyed every Adventure this year as we visited every Chapter and many other events throughout the year. We look forward to an Adventurous Grand Session. Hope to see you all at our “Believe In The Adventure” Grand Session.

    Teddy Bear Hugs,

Lanni Strong, Worthy Grand Matron         Tracy M. Harris, Worthy Grand Patron

Instructions and Links

Greetings -

We are pleased to share with you updates to this year’s registration for Oregon’s Grand Chapter Session.  There are a few changes to streamline our processes, create less paperwork and provide the option for using electronic payments. If you choose to register via snail mail, we have streamlined this process as well. Our test group has found the system to be very easy to use and self-explanatory. Please see below for more details and specific instructions.

Ways to register:

  • Online registration -

    • We are excited to offer an online registration system.
    • You will submit your registration for Grand Chapter Session and Banquets through the same link
    • You can register for more than one person at a time.
      • When you are on the online form, each “ticket” equals 1 person.
      • You choose how many “tickets” which equals how many registrations.
      •  It will then ask you to populate the information for those registrations.
    • RV registration has its own link specific to registering for a space but it is through the same platform.
    • Please see below with information on the platform we are using and for some directions/clarifications.
    • Credit or debit card, or direct from your bank account are acceptable forms of payment.
      • *Please note that paypal and venmo are not options to use via the online system.

Snail Mail -

    • The paper forms will be emailed to your secretary and can be found on the Oregon OES website.
    • The form now is combined for registration and banquets.
    • One form to be filled out per person.
      • You can return forms for more than one person and can write one check for all of those forms.
        • Example: Wife ($250), Husband ($250), Daughter ($300) = 3 forms and 1 check with the total for all. Combined check submitted for $800
    • All forms will be sent back to the Registration Chair as a packet -
      • Registration
      • Banquets
      • You can send 1 check for all
    • RV Reservation must be mailed separately and a check sent with it.

Online Registration Information:

  • We will be using a platform called Zeffy.  Zeffy is completely free for nonprofits - no platform fees, no credit card fees, no fees period! They’ve never charged a single cent to nonprofits. 100% of all payments received through Zeffy go directly to the nonprofit. Zeffy relies entirely on optional tips from those using the forms. When making a payment on a Zeffy form, you can choose to contribute to Zeffy or not. On average, 2 out of 3 people leave a tip. This is enough to cover all of their costs and re-invest in the development of Zeffy. Zeffy has been working with nonprofits for 7 years and, thanks to this 100% free model, currently supports 50,000 organizations across North America. The person using the system is never forced to tip Zeffy. You choose whether you are able to leave an optional tip to support Zeffy. If you are not able to, the nonprofit still keeps 100% of the money raised.
  • If you are able to, please help support this company and the amazing work they are doing to support non-profit organization.
  •  *Please note they have preset the tip amount at 15% but you can click on that button and choose a pre-determined percentage or change it to “other” and put in the amount you are able to or zero.
