Application Information:
- All applications must be submitted electronically via this submission form no later than midnight on April 30, 2025
Eligibility:
- Scholarships are available to female students for expenses in accredited non-sectarian
colleges and universities within the State of Oregon.
- Applicant does not need to be a member or related to a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
- Scholarships are awarded to worthy students who have completed at least two years
satisfactory college work.
- Such scholarships shall be in the range of $1000.00 per student in any one year,
depending upon the Leslie S. Parker investment annual earnings.
- Awards are made in the form of a certificate presented to the student. The student is free
to select the school of her choice as set forth in bullet #1. A check, in the amount of the
award, will be sent to the Financial Aid Officer of the respective institution, the money to
be used for books, tuition, board and room, clothing or medical aid.
- If a recipient of an award fails to enroll, or leaves the school of her choice before
completing the period for which the award is granted, the full amount, or unused portion,
of the money shall be returned to the Leslie S. Parker Memorial Scholarship Fund of the
Grand Chapter of Oregon, Order of the Eastern Star.
- Applications are available on the Oregon Eastern Star Web Site (www.oregonoes.org), or
from the Chairman of the committee listed below.
- All applications, together with the full academic record, and the required
recommendations must be received by the Chairperson of the Leslie S. Parker Memorial
Scholarship Committee NO LATER THAN APRIL 30, 2025.

Criteria for Evaluation
The application will be considered only when complete with the following supporting information:
- Completed electronic application submitted by midnight on April 30, 2025.
- Late applications will not be considered.
- All forms electronically signed by the applicable parties.
- Current college transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable). Needs to include the most current completed academic quarter or semester. Please have this ready when you fill out the electronic form as it will have you upload it into the form.
